It's time for another episode of Chord of the Month, in this piano tutorial, we are going to learn a very useful voicing for a major chord.
This major 13 chord is built using stacks of 4ths which give it a very unique sound. It also doubles up the 13th which makes it slightly 'mysterious'.
It is a very versatile chord and you can substitute any standard major chord with this voicing. It's especially good for neo-soul & gospel chord progressions.
