In this lesson, I show you how to create your own chord progressions on the piano. This is done using the knowledge that every note from a major scale has a chord built from it. Every major scale has the same sequence of chords built from it.
The sequence is as follows: Major, Minor, Minor, Major, Major, Minor, Diminished
If we take any random combination of these chords we have a chord progression. There are literally an infinite amount of progressions we could come up with.
Use this knowledge to come up with your own progressions. Play around with the rhythm, change the chord inversions and add some passing notes to make it sound more original.
