These are 5 of my favourite licks to play using the blues scale. Although they would probably work over blues music, they really shine over more modern genres such as neo-soul, hip-hop and R&B.

Take them through a bunch of different keys and get creative with them, see how you can incorporate them into your improvisation and solos.
